In line with empowering young talent and expanding the innovation ecosystem in the field of artificial intelligence, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the company «Noavaran Dadeh Salamat Pishro» (trading as Deepnex Academy) and the Entrepreneurship Center of the Science and Technology Park of Sharif University of Technology.
This memorandum was concluded with the aim of synergizing the educational, research, and entrepreneurial capacities of the two organizations and creating a platform for identifying, nurturing, and supporting university teams and early-stage startups in the field of artificial intelligence.
Under the terms of this memorandum, the parties will cooperate in areas such as:
- Empowering the selected teams of the national iAAA (Iran AI Annual Award) event,
- Facilitating the establishment of selected startups in the accelerator of Sharif Science and Technology Park,
- Holding joint training courses in artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship,
- Wide-scale outreach through the official channels of Sharif University of Technology,
and awarding joint educational certificates.
The iAAA (Iran’s Annual AI Award) event, designed and organized on the initiative of Deepnex Academy, is one of the country’s largest national events in the field of artificial intelligence and, with the support of Sharif Entrepreneurship Center, is taking steps toward building a bridge between university talent and the AI industry.
In this collaboration, Sharif Entrepreneurship Center will play an important role in supporting Sharif’s talents by providing a suitable venue for holding events, participating in the iAAA scientific committee, and supporting the establishment of top teams in the park’s accelerator. In turn, Deepnex Academy is responsible for the content and executive design and management of the events, providing specialized instructors, and creating a connection between university teams and the real business environment.
This memorandum is valid for one year and, subject to the mutual satisfaction of the parties, may be renewed for future periods.
According to representatives of the two organizations, signing this memorandum is regarded as an effective step toward turning Sharif University of Technology into a hub for nurturing the country’s AI startups and developing Iran’s AI innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
